AND THE STARKEY HEARING FOUNDATION GIVE 836 HEARING AIDS TO
ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN HERMOSILLO, SENORA, MEXICO

Hearing Aid Specialist, owner and operator of Alan Weiss Hearing
Aids, accompanied by his son Angelo Giordanelli, Intern, today
announced the successful completion of a three-day hearing
aid mission trip to Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico that resulted
in 418 adults and children receiving 836 hearing aids. The
mission trip was completed in conjunction with the Starkey
Hearing Foundation in an effort to fulfill the Foundation’s
commitment to helping the world to hear.
Hearing aid mission trips are paid for by donations to the
Starkey Hearing Foundation. Every year at the Foundation’s
annual “So the World May Hear” Awards Gala, Gala
attendees have an opportunity to bid during a live auction
to fund a mission trip. Perry Giordanelli in conjunction with
his partners Stephanie Fiorella of Better Hearing-World of
Sounds Hearing Aids in Ft. Lauderdale, Craig Drucker of West
Boca Hearing Center in Boca Raton and Javier Benitez of Hear
Center in North Miami bid $40,000 to help fund the Mexico
mission, which took place September 24 – 27.

HEARING FOUNDATION GIVE 660 HEARING AIDS TO BROWARD AND DADE
CHILDREN DURING SUPERBOWL MISSION
BROWARD COUNTY FLORIDA, 2/5/2007 - Perry Giordanelli,
BC-HIS, ACA, Hearing Aid Specialist, owner and operator of
four local hearing aid offices together with his son, Angelo
Giordanelli, Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist, today announced
the successful completion of a two day hearing aid mission
at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida that resulted
in 330 children and adults receiving 660 hearing aids. The
mission was completed in conjunction with The Starkey Hearing
Foundation, the National Football League and Samsung Electronics
America in an effort to fulfill the foundation’s commitment
to helping the world to hear.
On “So the World May Hear Day”,
the first day of the mission, Alan Weiss Hearing Aids joined
such celebrities as Leslie Nielsen, Marion Ross, Paul Williams,
ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Editions Eduardo Xol and
former Miss America, Heather Whitestone.

of something so meaningful” said Perry Giordanelli,
President of Alan Weiss Hearing Aids.
